Kim Kardashian says her upcoming nuptials to NBA star Kris Humphries will bring the elegance.
Access Hollywood caught up with the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" clan at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles, where Kim - who will be wearing a Vera Wang wedding gown - dished on the big day.

"Vera's been a really good friend for a very long time and there's really no one that designs wedding gowns like Vera," Kim told Access. "She's really truly unique and she's someone that I trust and someone that I think can get my vision over across perfectly."
Sisters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian along with Kendall and Kylie Jenner - who will also be wearing Vera Wang - will serve as Kim's bridesmaids when she walks down the aisle.

"I don't want to give too much away, but it'll be really elegant and pretty," Kim continued.
As for the couple's honeymoon, it appears the busy pair will have to postpone it for quite some time.
"I don't think we're going to have time for one right away... Kourtney and I are going to head out to New York, so it'll be good to just enjoy each other for a little bit," Kim told Access. "And then hopefully the following summer we will. It'll give us time to think about exactly where we want to go."

New fashion e-commerce: Zara to the US, J Crew to the UK, Ferragamo debuts

Some long-awaited web shopping news items have been announced this week.
Style blog Fashionista reports that Spanish fast fashion chain Zara -- which, just like competitor H&M, has been surprisingly slow in developing its e-commerce, only having launched in Europe last year -- has confirmed it will bring its e-shop stateside September 7.
In return, the über-popular US label J Crew, which stocks everything from basics to bridal wear, will bring its clothes to the UK -- and thus to a lot of other European countries thanks to cheaper shipping costs -- via a new digital store by the end of this month.
With few exceptions, the fashion industry is a notoriously late adapter to new technologies. One of the very last prominent houses to launch e-commerce is Salvatore Ferragamo: having previously run an accessories-only e-shop, the brand's ready-to-wear will become available online August 5.

First look: Demi Moore for Ann Taylor, Julianne Moore for Talbots

Mrs. Kutcher, as she is known to her more than 3.8 million followers on Twitter, is taking over from fellow Hollywood actress Katie Holmes, starring in the US label's fall/winter campaign.
The ads, shot by Patrick Demarchelier at New York's Rockefeller Center Gardens, were released August 2. This means yet another lucrative fashion gig for the Moore-Kutcher clan: Demi's daughter Rumer Willis is currently modeling for the American brand Badgley Mischka, while Ashton co-stars with Alessandra Ambrosio in Brazilian label Colcci's ads.
Meanwhile, another A-list actress, Julianne Moore, is reappearing in Talbots's ads: after previously fronting a campaign for the US retailer last spring, she can now be seen modeling sharp fall tailoring in the newly released pictures.

Asos launches iPad app

Online designer store Net-à-Porter's acclaimed shopping app is in for some serious competition from the more affordable e-tailer Asos, whose iPad app launches internationally August 5.
Free to download, the new app lets you browse and shop directly from fashion editorials, very similar to Net-à-Porter's: the new "Girls of Summer" edition of Asos's digital magazine features actresses and it-girls Zoe Kravitz and Jennifer Lawrence modeling the e-store's clothes, all available via click-through. In addition, the app will come with trend reports, styling tips, as well as video and 360-degree views of all items.
Both Android and iPhone versions are scheduled to launch by the end of this year.

A new video teases the global shopping event Fashion's Night Out, initiated by Vogue's Anna Wintour in 2009, which will take place on September 8 this year.
In the US alone, more than 100 cities will be participating, while Australia, China, the UK, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Spain, South Korea, Taiwan, and Turkey will all organize their own editions.
For the first time, online retailers will also stage special shopping events to involve those who aren't close to any of the participating locations.
"We've come a long way in three years," Wintour -- who launched the initiative in order to boost spending through after-hours shopping, parties, and special deals -- said in a statement, "and thankfully, the fashion industry is much healthier than when we started in 2009, but it could always be better...we are eager to see the kinds of events retailers will create to turn all that wonderful enthusiasm into even greater sales this year."
With the event, the Fashion's Night Out collection is also growing bigger, this year including long- and short-sleeved T-shirts, baseball caps, and tote bags.

Scandinavian fashion weeks
August 8-14
Stockholm, Sweden; Oslo, Norway
While August is a calm month for fashion in general, the Scandinavian countries are using the gap in between seasons to build an alternative scene that attracts more and more visitors each year and that has local designers return from big international fashion cities to show in their home countries.
